How long is an Australian RN OSCE pass valid?
Start with the application deadline
The current handbook gives 90 days from receipt of the pass result source to submit a complete application through the IQNM dashboard. That is an application requirement, not permission to practise and not a statement that every document remains current for the same period. RN OSCE Candidate Handbook, 7 July 2026.
Keep English and recency evidence separate
English evidence, recency of practice, identity documents and other registration requirements each have their own conditions. An examination pass does not extend them automatically. Check the current registration standards and ask Ahpra about your circumstances if a document will expire before you apply. NMBA English language skills requirements.
If you have an old result or cannot apply on time
Contact Ahpra using your case details before relying on an old pass. Explain the result date and the evidence issue without posting private documents publicly. For planning, write down each trigger
Keep a personal checklist for dashboard eligibility, payment, visa evidence, examination allocation, result receipt and registration submission. Use the correspondence that confirms each event.
