Our arithmetic: after-NCLEX subtotal adds the OSCE sitting, application and registration charges. The whole-route AUD subtotal also adds assessment and orientation. The USD illustration adds registration and, where applicable, international scheduling. These sums assume successful first attempts and exclude taxes, English testing, document checks, visa, travel, accommodation and optional preparation. They are calculated from the linked fee components, not totals quoted by NMBA.

If an existing NCLEX result needs transferring, ask Ahpra whether the A$250 NCLEX-RN score transfer fee source applies to your request; it is excluded from the subtotals. External English-test and document-check costs depend on provider and circumstances, so no universal price is assigned.

Follow the separate clocks

  1. Confirm eligibility

  2. Pay the sitting fee

Within 120 days source of the dashboard entering the OSCE stage.

  3. Arrange offshore documentation

The supporting eligibility letter is due within 4 weeks of payment source. Home Affairs decides visa eligibility. Home Affairs visa finder

  4. Complete the examination

Within 180 days after payment source. This is a sit-and-complete window, not just a booking deadline.

  5. Receive allocation confirmation

The handbook process diagram gives 4–8 weeks before the allocated exam source. Follow your actual letter and respond promptly to availability requests.

  6. Receive results

Within 8 weeks after the exam source. This handbook window is not an average waiting-time promise.

  7. Submit registration application

Within 90 days of receiving a pass result source. Passing alone does not grant registration.

Do not add these windows to advertise a guaranteed end-to-end duration: they start at different events, some overlap, and the handbook does not promise a registration processing time. Read your dashboard and individual correspondence alongside the current guidance.
