Make your result useful

Understand your
RN OSCE results.

Read each station separately before deciding what to practise next. A single overall impression can hide very different learning needs.

What the result letter tells you

Ahpra emails results within eight weeks. The letter gives the overall pass or fail outcome and each station’s name, score, pass mark, result and performance band. Each station has its own assessment; do not turn it into a universal percentage target.

If you did not pass

Pay a new A$4,000 examination fee and follow the next scheduling process through the IQNM dashboard. The examiners do not provide individual coaching feedback. Use the station information in the letter to structure your preparation rather than guessing a pass rate or numerical target.

Build a plan from the station pattern

  1. Write down the station areas you need to revisit.
  2. Distinguish assessment, communication, documentation and physical technique needs.
  3. Use an estimated practice report to review evidence of what you said and recorded. Treat it as coaching guidance, not a forecast.
  4. Rehearse a fresh scenario and take practical technique questions to supervised training.

Our practice reports use the same four band names, clearly labelled estimated. Evidence and example approaches help you choose the next rehearsal. They do not reproduce an examination result letter or certify readiness.
