RN OSCE exam dates
in Australia, 2026 / 2027.

The official public date calendar is not published. Your invitation and allocation letter establish your examination date; a preparation course timetable does not.

How an examination place is allocated

  1. Pass NCLEX-RN and wait for the OSCE payment invitation in your IQNM dashboard.
  2. Pay A$4,000 within 120 days of entering the OSCE stage. You have 180 days after payment to sit and complete the OSCE.
  3. If offshore, receive the supporting eligibility letter and provide your valid Australian visa to the IQNM Exams Team. Payment and visa submission must be at least three months before a cycle to receive its availability request.
  4. Respond to the availability email using its online form. Priority depends on payment date, or visa submission date for offshore candidates, followed by when the form is submitted.
  5. Wait for the confirmation letter before arranging travel. It identifies your allocated day, session and venue.

Monthly cycles, individual confirmation

The NMBA RN examination page says exams run each calendar month at one of the two venues, Adelaide or Melbourne, and days may be added for demand. A monthly cycle does not guarantee an individual place.

Plan for confirmation around four to eight weeks before the examination. The July 2026 handbook specifies that letters are sent no earlier than eight weeks before the date; late availability responses and individual allocations can produce shorter notice. Your actual confirmation takes priority over a planning range.

If you need to withdraw or change plans

Email the IQNM Exams Team promptly. At least five full business days’ notice is needed before the allocated date and time, excluding weekends and Australian national public holidays. With sufficient notice, an alternative space in the same cycle may be offered; otherwise transfer to a later cycle can be made without another sitting fee. A change is confirmed only when the team emails confirmation. Insufficient notice can mean failure and forfeiting the fee.
