NCLEX to RN OSCE: OBA Steps After a Pass

Do I need OSCE after passing NCLEX for Australia?
OBA describes an assessment route
Outcomes-based assessment combines knowledge and practical assessment for candidates whose pathway requires it. It is not the name of a compulsory commercial course. Confirm your own route first, including whether you meet the newer internationally qualified RN registration standard. NMBA registered-nurse examinations.
After the NCLEX result is recorded
Wait for the IQNM dashboard to confirm the next stage. Follow payment instructions there and keep your candidate contact details current. A Pearson VUE result, a US licence and an Australian registration decision are different records; contact Ahpra if your existing NCLEX history needs to be considered. The OSCE has its own allocation process
Once eligible, payment must be made within 120 days of entry to the OSCE stage source; the handbook requires sitting and completing within 180 days after payment source. Offshore visa evidence and cycle availability also matter. Ask the Exams Team how these requirements apply if a visa decision or another circumstance causes delay. Prepare for application, not just examinations
Keep qualification, registration history, identity and English evidence organised. A practical examination pass is followed by an application for registration; recency, English and other standards still apply. Do not make employment promises based only on a test result. NMBA Self-check.
